Marrakech daydreaming

This morning I've booked flights for a mini-break to Marrakech in December with my husband and I am so excited already!
I've heard some many good reports of the city and wonders it has to offer!

Now I just need to stop looking on tripadvisor for accommodation and get on with some work!
Any recommendations of places to stay are welcome....

Lisa over at LilSonnySky went earlier in the year so I'll be checking out her posts on her trip for tips!

a little of Jme with rahrah

I headed to the home of RahRahRepeats last night where Rachel was hosting a Jme party.
A Jme representative showed us a lovely range of products from the Jamie Oliver empire and even baked us a tasty cake!

I was spoilt for choice...there are some lovely ranges. I was very tempted by the set of notebooks and the kids apron (complete with bow tie!) but I settled on a couple of practical things along with this lovely lantern that I couldn't resist!

happy hen memories

I was reminiscing about my hen do over this last weekend...
.it was exactly a year ago and it was truly wonderful!
Perfect weather and surrounded by my wonderful friends and family.
I'd like to do it all over again!

See here if you fancy a nose at what I got up to and the badges I made for everyone!

I'm very tempted by this 'Bonjour' print for my home!

A lovely London time

I had a super time in London!
Me, my brother Sam and my sister in law to be, Abimaro had a nice relaxed time in Greenwich on Wednesday (see photos). Great views of London from Greenwich Park!
Then onto meet my lovely friend Abigail Brown from work at her Cockpit Arts studios (it was great to see the studios at last....they have open studios coming up soon!!! I definitely recommend a trip there!)
The evening was started with a cocktail before heading to a great new pad for lots of wine and nattering!

Yesterday was topped off by lunch with my super mate Charlene and then I spotted one of my cards in WHSmith at St Pancras station!
Hooray for mid-week getaways! If only every week was like this one!

The Famille Summerbelle website is great too, full of lovely stuff....check it out here.

I'm off on the train to London for a couple of days today to catch up with some friends and family! I cannot wait! :D

It seems that my brother is getting into this hipstamatic lark on his iphone!
He took this great photo on his way to work yesterday morning which has now been entered into a competition!
So your votes would be much appreciated to help him get a top spot!
Maybe I'm a little bias but I think he deserves it! Its super!!
thank you very much

a floral start to the week!

Here's a little selection of florals I created a little while back!
It was such a beautiful sunny weekend here, the first hot one of the year!! I'm a little pink today but I enjoyed it alot!
The novelty of my Fig has well and truly kicked in again now the suns out!
A lot of relaxing went on this weekend which is just perfect!
Hope you all had a good one!

Thanks My Owl Barn

My Owl Barn, had a little feature about me and my latest owl artwork on friday!
I was very pleased to see it! So thank you to My Owl Barn!

There's been so many owls around in design over recent years so its great there's a blog that shows a great selection of what is out there!

I love this little top that they featured recently from TeaPony

I love pets!

Here's some characters taken from a design I created a couple of years ago. I'm pretty fond of the little sausage dog!

I really love pets, I love how they become part of the family whether they like it or not!

Gary our cat is my favourite, he seems to be pretty oblivious of the fact that we think the world of him! He can't do any wrong in my eyes!

Another oblivious pet is Millie the dog who belongs to my parents... she even has her own blog! see here
If only she knew!!

Have a super weekend everyone! Enjoy the sunshine!
