Happy Christmas!

Here's a little festive design....
with a little help from Bertie's footprint from when he was just a couple of months old.

Just trying to wind everything up ready for Christmas now, still plenty of presents to wrap....if the postman delivers them that is!  I thought I was organised but it's really crept up on me this year!
Looking forward to a first christmas with our little lad Bertie and first in our new home! We've even splashed out on two trees......
The one above is more like a christmas bush....the one below a christmas twig...
but we love them!
Have a very happy, relaxing and safe Christmas everyone...hope you all enjoy a work free time with your loved ones! See you in 2014!

a holiday snap...

Not much beats laughing with this little guy these days....especially now he has a proper giggle!
Here's a snap from the airport while waiting for our flight home after a sunny week with family in Spain in September....it was a super week!

It's been a while....

This year has been flying by far too quickly in a blur of juggling baby Bertie with life in general.
My blog has been right at the bottom of the to do list I'm sorry to say but I thought I'd pass through with some work of mine that I have spotted in George@ASDA over recent months!

Our new arrival....

Born 1st February 2013, weighing 7lb 8.5
He's here... and I was right!
it's a boy!
And I just can't get enough of him!
As parents we are bias but he really is just the best!!

Bertie is 12 weeks old now and growing so fast so
I have included a more recent pic too so his lovely smiley face can be seen....

My birth wasn't much fun,  (but hey are they really ever fun! or easy!?! I know it could have been a lot worse and the midwives were great! NHS at it's best...hospital food excluded!) and the broken sleep sometimes takes it's toll but at the risk of quoting mum cliche's, he's well worth it!

It's amazing what that little smile can do to you and I have a feeling it's going to be winning me over for many many years to come!

Oh Bertie we love you!

I'm a winner!

Back in December I entered the giveaway over on the Donna Wilson blog and I've been lucky enough to be chosen as the winner thanks to my cheesy joke:
Why are Christmas trees like bad knitters?!
They both drop their needles!

So today I've had super post.... 4 lovely acorn dinner plates!
Thank you Donna Wilson!
Now I need to cook something especially nice for dinner in order to use them!
